   This policy is also intended to increase efficiency and productivity within the company and provide enhanced career opportunities for staff through

   training and job-related skill development including:

·        Developing a more highly skilled and flexible workforce.

·        Providing employees with career opportunities through appropriate training to acquire skills.

·        Through workplace redesign, removing barriers to the utilisation of skills acquired; and

·        Introduction of agreed processes for recognition of prior learning.
